This is a Special Day for Two Reasons!

This is my 200th blog post! Wow, how time does fly by when you are having fun! I'd like to thank everyone for reading my humble little entries and commenting! Now, on to 200 more!

I just finished reading a delightful little novel by one of my favorite romance authors - "Amazing Gracie" by Sherryl Woods. First released in 1998, this sweet love story was released this year with a gorgeous new cover!

The story is about a young woman hotel executive, Gracie MacDougal, who decided to take a break from her fast-faced world, and take some time to regroup. She returns to Seagull Point, Virigina, a favorite vacation spot from her childhood, and rediscovers her passion in life when she spots a rundown Victorian mansion that would make a perfect bed and breakfast. Now, if she can just convince the owner, one gorgeous hunk of man named Kevin Daniels, to sell her the house...

Kevin has no intentions on selling the old house to Gracie, but he sure intends to have a good time with the beautiful, headstrong gal while he can! But when Gracie begins to befriend the women in his family, Kevin soon finds out he's outnumbered! What Gracie wants, Gracie gets...and if he plays his cards rights, Gracie will want Kevin!

"Amazing Gracie," is full of romance and fun, and is just perfect when you decide to spend a lazy afternoon! I've always enjoyed Sherryl Wood's romances, including her Rose Cottage Sisters series and her Sweet Magnolia series. Pick up a copy of "Amazing Gracie" soon, you'll be glad you did.

And just a note - a very important note....

Today is a very special Holiday...near and dear to my heart and I'm sure most of you will share the same sense of elation in knowing that today is.....

NATIONAL PIE DAY!!!!!!

So, everybody go out and have a big ol' piece of delicious pie...your favorite kind!

What is your favorite kind of pie??? I am an apple pie girl, but a good piece of coconut cream can turn my head too!

Happy Reading and Happy Pie Day!

This was my personal copy of "Amazing Gracie." I reviewed it of my own freewill.

Congratulations on your 200th post! I really enjoy your blog - here's to the next 200!

I love Sheryl Woods. I had hesitated to pick this one up because it's a reissue, but it sounds like it's just as charming as her newer books. I'll add it to my TBR list.
