Topsy-Turvy Tuesday stuff

It's Tuesday, and I've just got a variety of things to catch up with, so I have dubbed today Topsy-Turvy Tuesday!

First, my sweet book blog buddy Sheila from One Person's Journey Through A World of Books (site here) sent me the cutest award!

The Prolific Blogger Award!

Here's the scoop on this darling award -

A Prolific Blogger is one who is intellectually productive… keeping up an active blog that is filled with enjoyable content.

1. Every winner of the Prolific Blogger Award has to pass on this award to at least seven other deserving prolific bloggers. Spread some love!
2. Each Prolific Blogger must link to the blog from which he/she has received the award.
3. Every Prolific Blogger must link back to the original posting of this award at Advance Booking's blog (http://linktoink.blogspot.com/2009/11/new-awardand-new-design.html) , which explains the origins and motivation for the award.
4. Every Prolific Blogger must visit this post and add his/her name in the Mr. Linky on the original page, so that we all can get to know the other winners.

So the blogs I award this to are:

1.Secret Dreamworld of a Bookaholic (Katherin) http://cozymurders.blogspot.com/

3. One Person's Journey Through a World of Books (Sheila) http://bookjourney.wordpress.com/

4.Miss Remmer's Reviews (Reagan) http://reagan-review.blogspot.com/

5.Janel's Jumbles (Janel) http://janelsjumble.blogspot.com/

6.Pen and Paper (Tracey) http://pettywitter.blogspot.com/

7. Layers of Thought (Shelli) http://www.layersofthought.net/

Mystery Read-A-Thon Weekend Results:

Well, I managed to finished up the two books I had picked out, Foolproof by Barbara D'Amato and Gutshot Straight by Lou Berney, and I am pleased to report that I enjoyed them both! Look for the reviews to come shortly.

I also started "Knit, Purl, Die" by Anne Canadeo, for which I have a blog tour stop coming up tomorrow, so check back to learn more about this one! (hint: I am loving it!)

Life, of course, had to stick her nosy nose into my weekend, but I did manage to read the required 12 hours (plus!) over the whole time. So I was pleased, and ready for another one!

Thanks to Katherin and Meen for sponsoring this fun event!

An answer to a request!

I believe it was Katherin who asked to see a photo of me and my tall boys! So here it is! I'm proud of my sons! (l-r Cassidy, 17; Calen, 21; Coleman 24; and Clayton, 23)

Hope your Tuesday isn't as Topsy-Turvy as mine is sure to be! Happy Reading!

P.S. I just had to share this video - As you can tell by the music today, I'm a big Poco fan! I thought this video was just gorgeous!

Thanks for the award, Sharon!

Also, what a lovely family. I only have 1 boy and I'm not sure how you've managed with 4 of them, but congrats on raising a nice bunch o' boys :)

This is a photo of a gorgeous family, and I love the names you chose for your sons, all unique and all beginning with "C".
