Snapshot Saturday! My First!

Some of my blogger friends participate in this neat meme, so I thought I'd join in the fun!

My roses are doing so well this spring - it's just amazing at the loads and loads of buds that are fixing to pop everywhere!  This is my Lowell Thomas rose - it smells so sweet, just like honey!

I have 50 roses in our backyard, and my husband and I have been fertilizing, and spraying, and tending them this past week - and we've got the sunburn and sore muscles to prove it!  But they reward us in beautiful flowers and sweet smells all summer long!

My sweet husband Don took this wonderful photos!

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you.

Sharon, these are beautiful! I've always been hesitant to try my hand at growing roses. Maybe if I lived in a more temperate climate - but there are people up here who have success so maybe I should.

Beautiful! I can never get roses to bloom consistently.

Mmm beautiful! A few blossoms in a vase would add a lovely perfume inside the house too.
