Snapshot Saturday!

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you.

I bring you a sad story today. I "had" a beautiful angel statue that reside in my peaceful garden.

Before The Wind storms
And then one week, we had horrific windstorms sweep through North Texas.  And thus my poor angel is no more.

I guess this particular angel forgot how to use her wings!  So sad!

Well, I've put out hints for a new one for Mother's Day! We'll see how well the boys listen!

Oh, that's so sad. We've had lots of wind, too, but nothing that bad.

Goodness, that must have been one heck of a storm! I think another angel will find her way to your yard.

Oh, what a sad display of Mother Nature! It's great that you had the "before" photo...the "after" is a very poignant reminder of the cruelty of the weather.

Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

The storms moving across the US this year have been horrible. Sorry your little angel had to get caught in one of them.

That is sad the wind ruined you garden angel. This is the first I've heard of this meme.

Oh, she definitely needs replacing! That must have been such a sad sight after the storms!

Sharon, so sorry about your pretty angel. Wildfires in your area? The ones in our part have been southwest of us. Take care and pray for rain!!

The sad part was, we weren't even home when the angel took her head-dive. We came home to lots of limbs down and our entire side fence tossed into the neighbor's yard. It was a heck of a wind storm. We've had some wildfires here as well, but nothing like down around the Possum Kingdom Lake area. (Kay will know where I'm talking about!)
