I'm going to K.I.S.S. and TEAL this week! A Special week of reviews and a Fabulous GIVEAWAY!!!

This week I am turning my blog teal- colored!  Why?

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and along with my friends at Avon Books, I want to be sure that readers “K.I.S.S. and Teal” to help conquer this horrible disease.

That is “K.I.S.S.”, or “Know the Important Signs and Symptoms” and teal — the color of the ovarian cancer support movement. I was surprised to learn that ovarian cancer is not only the fifth most deadly cancer for women, but that the survival rate is much lower for those diagnosed with this cancer as opposed to others. So I'm so thrilled that Avon Books is taking a stand against the disease — and helping readers get involved.

To kick off “K.I.S.S. and Teal” Avon Books made a $25,000 donation to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. And their commitment to helping raise funds (and national awareness) doesn’t stop there, Avon has created an easy way for readers to get involved in the fight against this deadly disease.

Between now and February 28, 2012, the imprint will donate twenty-five cents from the sale of each book (in traditional and e-formats) that has the “K.I.S.S. and Teal” logo on it. In September these books are:

Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue by Stephanie Laurens

The Seduction of Scandal by Cathy Maxwell

The Deed by Lynsay Sands

A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare

In the Arms of a Marquess by Katharine Ashe

One Night in London by Caroline Linden

Star Crossed Seduction by Jenny Brown.

Each day this week, I'll be featuring a review of these wonderful romances, along with special taped messages from the authors regarding the K.I.S.S. and TEAL campaign!

I am super-excited to announce that Avon Books has donated one of their beautiful tote bags filled with each of these novels for me to give away to one lucky winner this week!

Simply leave your name and email address on a comment on this week's postings!  Simple as that!  I will draw for a winner on Monday, September 19th!

You can enter each day, but please just enter once a day!

I hope you are as excited as I am about this wonderful, compassionate campaign!  Tell your family, tell your friends, tell everyone that this month, it is to important to K.I.S.S. and TEAL!!!

I thought that I'd posted a comment here already but, now, I can't find it. Anyway, the Avon K.I.S.S. and Teal campaign is a wonderful way of getting the message out to women on how to look for and be aware of the signs of Ovarian Cancer.

I have the Avon K.I.S.S. and Teal logo as my profile picture on Facebook. I've also posted the link several times as well.

Thanks for this amazing contest.
