Christmas Book Review - Bring Me Home For Christmas: A Virgin River Novel by Robyn Carr

About The Book:

This year, Becca Timm knows the number one item on her Christmas wish list—getting over Denny Cutler. Three years ago, Denny broke her heart before heading off to war. It's time she got over her silly high-school relationship and moved on.

So she takes matters into her own hands and heads up to Virgin River, the rugged little mountain town that Denny calls home, as an uninvited guest on her brother's men-only hunting weekend. But when an accident turns her impromptu visit into an extended stay, Becca finds herself stranded in Virgin River.

With Denny. In very close quarters.

As the power of Christmas envelops the little town, Becca discovers that the boy she once loved has become a strong and confident man. And the most delicious Christmas present she can imagine.

I came to Robyn Carr's Virgin River novels late in the series, but I have quickly come to really love these stories about the mountain town and the people who give it character and life.

"Bring Me Home For Christmas" is Denny Cutler's story, just as much as it is his former girlfriend Becca's. Denny is the young man who showed up in Virgin River thinking that Jack Sheridan, owner of Jack's Bar, was his real father. While that relationship didn't turn out to be true, Denny has found a home for himself in the small town and has flourished. But now, just when his life has smoothed out, Denny's world is turned upside down when his old girlfriend, Becca Timm shows up to see if their long-over relationship has any life left to it.

Once again, Robyn Carr delivers a fast-paced, charmed filled story that has just the right amount of tension, just the right amount of sensuality, and just the right amount of humor to delight her readers. I loved the Thanksgiving and Christmas-time setting of this story - it makes it a perfect read for this time of year.

Robyn has three new Virgin River books coming out soon, and I, for one, can't wait!!

Check out Robyn's incredible website, which highlights her writing, and any and everything you would want to know about the Virgin River series!  http://www.robyncarr.com/

Robyn and her publisher, Harlequin, are sponsoring a wonderful contest for some incredible prizes in connection with "Bring Me Home For Christmas."  She is looking for some special stories about military homecomings.

This is my favorite romance series. I discovered it by accident (around the 4th book which is a Christmas book). I saw there were three before them so I bought them and the rest is history :) This book is on my shelf and I'm making myself wait until after Thanksgiving :)
