About The Book:
Book Number One in the Under Texas Stars series
I really enjoyed this book for several reasons.
1. I enjoy a good western romance, and this one has all the key elements that make a good one - love, faith, hope, endurance - they're all here.
2. The setting of the book is in my neck of the woods. Set in the fictional town of "Larson," the area the author describes is on the Red River, near the Oklahoma border, and in one instance, the main character's father wants to buy all the land between their ranch and Wichita Falls - which is my hometown!
3. There is an element of mystery and intrigue woven into the story, which always makes the tale move along faster.
4. The author includes the story of the main character Lucy's strong faith and belief in God, and I admire that so much.
"Blue Moon Promise" is the first in a series, and I'm looking forward to the next books to catch up on some of the promising secondary characters who are sure to have stories to share.
