Book Blog Tour Stop - Love's Sacred Song by Mesu Andrews

Have you ever wondered about the Biblical King Solomon's life as he assumed the throne after his father, the shepherd King David passed away? How he gained his reputation as a wise leader?  What inspired his beautiful "Song of Solomon"?

In her latest book, " Love's Sacred Song," author Mesu Andrews tells the story of the young wise king and a woman who turned his life upside-down in his early days as ruler.

About the Book:

Wisdom came as God's gift, but sacred love was forged through passion's fireStanding in the shadow of his famous father, young King Solomon wavers between fear and bravado, longing for a love that is true and pure--a love that can be his cornerstone.

A shepherdess in the northern city of Shunem, Arielah has known since she first laid eyes on Solomon that it was her destiny to become his bride. When her father secures a promise from Solomon to marry Arielah as a treaty bride to help unite the kingdom, it seems her dreams will come true.

But how can this simple shepherdess live as part of Solomon's harem? Can Solomon set aside his distractions to give himself completely to just one woman? Or will he let duty, deception, and the daily routine divide his heart?

Author Mesu Andrews does a beautiful job telling the story of the young King Solomon and the lovely headstrong Arielah, the shepherdess who would claim his heart and would help him learn to use his God-given gifts to rule wisely among his people.

Andrews brings to life the turmoil and inner struggles the young king experienced as he takes the throne after the death of his father, King David. Life in the royal court in Jerusalem back then was heavy with intrigue, back-stabbing and political manuevering that would rival today's politics.

But "Love's Sacred Song" is also a love story - the tale of the young king and the intriguing young Arielah, daughter of the wise Jehosaphat, and how becoming his wife seattled not only strife among the many tribes of Israel, but also quieted the heart of Solomon. Sprinkling verses from the Biblical book Song of Solomon throughout the story, Andrews gives this story the romance it needs to show the gentler side of King Solomon.

Fans of historical fiction, inspiriational fiction and romance will find "Love's Sacred Song" a wonderfully told story that will resonate with them long after the final page is turned.
