Book Review - A Week To Be Wicked by Tessa Dare

I fell in love with Tessa Dare's "A Night To Surrender" - a lively story about a group of ladies living in Spindle Cove. So when I saw she was following up with a sequel - well, I was thrilled!

"A Week To Remember" is Minerva Highwood's story, and what a tale it is!

About The Book:

When a devilish lord and a bluestocking set off on the road to ruin . . . time is not on their side.

Minerva Highwood, one of Spindle Cove's confirmed spinsters, needs to be in Scotland.
Colin Sandhurst, Lord Payne, a rake of the first order, needs to be . . . anywhere but Spindle Cove.

These unlikely partners have one week:

     * to fake an elopement to convince family and friends they're "in love"

     * to outrun armed robbers to survive their worst nightmares to travel four hundred miles without
killing each other

     * All while sharing a very small carriage by day and an even smaller bed by night.

What they don't have time for is their growing attraction. Much less wild passion. And heaven forbid they spend precious hours baring their hearts and souls.

Suddenly one week seems like exactly enough time to find a world of trouble. And maybe . . . just maybe . . . everlasting love.

I love Tessa Dare's ability to bring a bit of sassy humor and a whole lot of fun to her stories, and "A Week To Remember" is an absolute joy to read!

Poor Minerva has middle child syndrome - she's smart, she's a little bit shy, and a whole lot awkward - but what she doesn't realize is that she is also a lovely young woman with a lot to offer the right man.
Colin Sandhurst has been stuck in Spindle Cove overseeing the local brigade for longer than he cared to be, but he has had plenty of time of observe the slightly bookish, the very argumentative, but oh-so attractive Miss Highwood, and he suddenly realizes that she just might be the right girl for him. Now if this "right" couple could just stop long enough to fall in love ...

This is a lively, fast-paced story that will hold reader's attention, and is thoroughly entertaining from the first page to the last!  I can't wait to see what antics the ladies of Spindle Cove have up their sleeves next!

Luckily, readers don't have to wait long!  "A Lady By Midnight" is scheduled for an August 2012 release! Woohoo!

Plus!!!  Tessa has a darling novella, Once Upon A Winter's Eve, that features sweet, shy Violet Winterbottom. It's available in e-book format from Amazon, B&N, etc.
