Book Review - The Surprise of Her Life by Helen R. Myers
About The Book:
Eve Easton had had enough "neighbor" trauma to last a lifetime, seeing as how her now ex-husband had run off with the woman next door. So off Eve went, to a new state, a new city, a new everything—only to find out her new next-door neighbor was her fellow dumpee, Derek Roland. The tall, dark and handsome former spouse of the woman Eve's ex left her for. Got it?
Well, she got it. And when it came to her neighborly policy, she was strictly "hands-off." Only she had a hard time resisting Derek, as did he, her. Seems as though both of them had traveled miles and miles just to find what they were looking for right in their own backyard .
Helen Myers is one of my favorite people in the world, and she is also one of my favorite writers! Her latest book, "The Surprise of Her Life," is a exhilirating story of the funny roads love can take us when when we least expect it.
Helen takes a rare situation of two people, former next-door neighbors, whose spouses dumped them for the other's spouse - make sense? It will as you read Eve and Derek's story of finding love in the most improbable places.
Helen's characters are realistic and the kind of people that you would just want to meet someday! The storyline is fast-paced and smooth as silk, with an outcome that is satisfying!
I highly recommend Helen's books, especially "The Surprise of Her Life." I think you'll like them too!
