Saturday Snapshot - our first strawberry crop!

Wanted to share our first picking of strawberries!

Yup - size of my thumbnail!  Hopefully more to come soon! :)

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books. It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link at Alyce's blog. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you.

They look great, Sharon. I'm thinking fresh double cream and your strawberries...

They look so very good. I think we have to wait for a while for our gardening friends to offer us homegrown strawberries this year. Today we even had some snow...

Wow, strawberries already - how exciting! I can't wait until we can go out to the fields near here and pick our fill.

Thank you all for stopping by! Those little berries were sweet - hopefully we'll have some more soon! Diane - the C was on a monogramed cocktail napkin that I had on my desk - thought it made a cute background! :)

Doesn't matter if they're small just as long as they are tasty- they look delicious. We gave up on strawberries, as we had too many grubs coming up out of the ground- they seemed to enjoy them.
