Saturday Snapshot - Fort Worth Botanical Gardens

Fall in Texas can be just gorgeous and last weekend was evidence of that! My husband Don and I took some time out of our weekend trip to visit the Fort Worth Botanical Garden's Rose Garden, and it was magnificient!

I wish I could share the scent of all those beautiful roses with you - but pictures will have to do!

2011 Rose of the Year - Dick Clark

That's Don's hand - yes, that rose was that big!!

It was a beautiful, balmy weekend!   Hope Fall is pretty where you are too!

The Dick Clark rose is pretty fantastic... but I actually like the striped look of the second to bottom more. Beautiful flowers!

Here's my Snapshot.

What a striking array of roses! I'm sure they were all very fragrant.

Such a beautiful location! I would love to visit there. I can smell the roses just looking at your photos! It's getting pretty cold here in NY and we've had a few snow flakes already. I like your weather!

So pretty Sharon.

I love rose gardens, particularly because I have such difficulty growing roses ... they always require dust or pesticide to keep the Japanese beetles at bay ... drat! Your photos are so pretty!
