Book Review - Picture Perfect: Weddings by Design by Janice Thompson

She's trying to focus on her future. How can one man make everything feel so . . . fuzzy?
Hannah McDermott has a successful photography studio. She'll soon be featured in Texas Bride magazine. And she has a celebrity client whose Galveston ceremony will be her ticket to the top spot on wedding coordinator Bella Neeley's list of recommended photographers. But it could all come crashing down around her because of one man: archrival and photographer extraordinaire Drew Kincaid.

As the competition between Hannah and Drew heats up, Hannah is surprised to find that it's not the only thing getting more intense. She can't get the handsome man out of her thoughts--or even out of her line of sight--and the job of her dreams is turning into a nightmare. Will everything she's worked for slip out of her hands? And can she see past her pride to find a picture-perfect love?
With contagious humor and a cast of quirky characters, Janice Thompson gives you crazy bridal-business drama, sweet romance, and a satisfying dose of laughter.

I was absolutely delighted by "Picture Perfect," the first book in author Janice Thompson's new series, "Wedding By Design."  Filled with humor and a lot of romance, great personable characters, and set in the gorgeous town of Galveston, Texas - this novel is light, charming, and just a lot of fun to read!

Although this is the first book in Janice's new series, it features cameo appearance from characters in her two previous series - "Weddings by Bella" and "Backstage Pass."  It was a real joy to see how the lives of these former characters have turned out, and how they play such a big part in the new series. This being said, new readers to Janice Thompson's work can easily pick up on the backstories and still enjoy "Picture Perfect" as a stand alone novel.

Janice has a great talent for storytelling, and her novels reflect her obvious joy of life and writing.  I highly recommend this novel, and the other books she has authored for anyone who enjoys a faith-filled, joy-filled, good time of reading!

Award-winning author Janice Thompson also writes under the pseudonym Janice Hanna. She got her start in the industry writing screenplays and musical comedies for the stage. Janice is currently the vice-president of her local writing group, Writers on the Storm, where she regularly teaches on the craft of writing.

Her online writing courses have been helpful to many who want to earn a living with their writing. She also shares her love of writing in her monthly column at CFOM (Christian Fiction Online Magazine).
