It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's June - omigosh, half the year has slipped by already!  Whew!  I guess it's true when they say "time flies!" But now it's summertime and what better time to grab a book and a glass of something cold and just enjoy!

I always loved summer reading!  As a kid I participated in my local library's summer reading program and have fond memories of heading down to the children's department at the Kemp Library and picking out an armful of books each week of summer vacation!  I still have some of my certificates of participation from way back then! :)  I was a champion reader even then!

I've got to speed up to get with the program!  I've kinda let my reading slip a bit while I've helped my husband with a recording project he's working on, but this week, I've got a great lineup of books that is going to grab my attention!!

What I'm Reading Now:

A Local author who is also a professor at our University here in Wichita Falls!

What I Plan To Read:

Special Events:

Wednesday:  Book Blog Tour Stop

Friday - Guest Post with Author Kaira Rouda and reviews of her two new book!

Hope you are having  a great summery reading week too!

The covers of "Motherland" and "Painting Juliana" are gorgeous! Thanks for bringing these books to my attention.

I'll look forward to Kaira Rouda's guest post on Friday.

I've always enjoyed summer reading as well, nothing like sitting outside with a good book and taking in some sunshine. Looks like you have some good reads coming up. The title of I Am Having So Much Fun Without You cracked me up...
