About The Book:
Christmas in Twilight, Texas, is all merriment and mistletoe. The Cookie Club is whipping up their most festive sweets, the townspeople are scrambling to get their holiday shopping done, and Joe—a hometown guy with a restless heart—is dreaming about the woman he wants to kiss most . . . . . . And who happens to be staying at his sister's place over the holidays, while Joe's sister is away. But Joe isn't quite sure he wants to be a living Christmas present to runaway law student Gabi Preston. Joe thinks the sassy sweetheart he nicknames "Trouble" won't inconvenience anything but his healthy sex drive. But when he discovers the reasons Gabi escaped from her life, he aches to give her everything she's never had. As the magic of the season draws them together, the gift of love is the only one worth giving…
I know it's only the middle of November, but I can hear those Christmas bells a'ringing and they are ringing in Twilight, Texas in Lori Wilde's latest book, "I'll Be Home For Christmas."
I love Lori's Twilight series about the small Texas town with a lot of heart, and this latest Christmas tale is absolutely one of Lori's best to date! I love how she introduces new characters and blends in previous characters, updating her readers on how their lives are going while telling the new story. And I absolutely adore the setting of Twilight, Texas! Based, not so loosely, on the charming real town of Granbury, Texas, it's a hoot to try to recognize the landmarks that Lori includes in the story! (My husband actually played at the real restaurant/bar on the lake that Lori has named "Froggy's"!)
While this is a continuation of Lori's Twilight series (not to be mistaken with that other "Twilight" series), first time readers can enjoy this story as well, and perhaps they will be enchanted enough to check out the other seven books as well - which I highly recommend!
Lori Wilde will get you in the Christmas spirit Texas-style with "I'll Be Home For Christmas!" I highly recommend it!
