Finished up the 2015 Reading Challenge!

This past year (that sounds funny already!) I participated in the 2015 Reading Challenge, sponsored by Anne at the blog Modern Mrs. Darcy!

There were 10 categories that you were to read a book from, and I finished up the last by the squeak of a day on December 30th!  But I finished!!!

Here are the categories and the books I read for them:

Book I've Been Meaning To Read:
Mockingbird by Charles Shield (a biography of Harper Lee)

A Book Published This Year:
Some Luck by Jane Smiley (all the books I read were published this year, lol!)

A Book In A Genre I Usually Don't Read:
The Last Book Ever Written by Jonah Kravant (Science Fiction)

A Book From My Childhood:
The Pokey Puppy by Janette Sebring Lowrey  (read to my grandson, Oliver!)

A Book Your Mom Loves:
Last One Home by Debbie Macomber  (got it on audiobooks for mom!)

A Book Originally Written In Another Language:
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo (Japanese)

A Book Everyone Has Read But Me:
Savor by Shauna Neiquist  (Heard so much about it, had to get it!)

A Book I Chose Because of the Cover:
A Peach of A Pair by Kim Boykin  (gorgeous cover!!)

A Book By A Favorite Author:
I'll Stand By You by Sharon Sala (Love this gal and love her Blessings, Georgia series!  If you haven't tried one, you have go to check them out!)

A Boo Recommend By Someone You Trust:
If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins (recommended by my friend, Bookfan Mary!)

So, there we go!  It feels good to have completed this challenge, and I've signed up to do it again in 2016!

If you'd like to join me in the challenge, check out Modern Mrs. Darcy's website at www.modernmrsdarcy.com/2016readingchallenge

My thanks to Anne for sponsoring this fun challenge!!
